The complete renovation of this family home in Záhorská Bystrica transformed the original interior into a coherent, bright and functional whole. Clean lines, natural materials and bespoke solutions connect every room without taking away the home’s natural character. Each zone responds to the family’s particular rhythm — time together, concentration, play, rest and practical everyday living.
The living area is designed as an open space with a clear hierarchy. The lounge, dining area and kitchen communicate with one another while each retains its own atmosphere. The kitchen island forms the natural centre of the home, connecting food preparation with family life. Built-in furniture conceals storage and maintains the calm visual character.
In the private rooms, we worked with a more subdued palette, soft textiles and precisely designed furniture. The bedroom feels calm, the children’s rooms provide space for both play and study, and the home office creates a focused place away from the main activity. The bathrooms continue the clean lines with large-format surfaces and practical details.
